CASE STUDIES
A look at some of the spaces we’ve transformed — from the first site visit to the final reveal. Each project is different, but the goal is always the same: a space that feels entirely right for the people who live or work in it.
Project 01 — The First One
Residential | Walthamstow, London — 2017 | Budget: £100,000
The brief was a full structural renovation of a derelict Victorian terraced house in Walthamstow — bought at auction and stripped back to its bones. Every challenge came at once: structural surprises, a £100,000 budget, and a commitment to source nothing off the shelf. The result was a completely transformed home with a loft conversion, bespoke fitted storage, and a new rear-extension kitchen — later filmed by the BBC for Homes Under the Hammer.

Project 01 — The First One
Residential | Walthamstow, London — 2017 | Budget: £100,000
Featured on BBC’s Homes Under the Hammer, aired 3rd May 2018.
This was where it all began. A derelict Victorian terraced house on Roma Road, Walthamstow — bought at auction, stripped back to its bones, and rebuilt from scratch. The house was completely gutted. A loft conversion with bespoke fitted storage and ensuite was added, along with a rear extension housing an entirely new kitchen.
Nothing was bought off the shelf. The ornate fireplace surround was found on Shpock, stripped back and painted duck-egg blue. The Delft chandelier was sourced and fitted by hand. The clawfoot roll-top bath and sink were salvaged from a lord’s estate in Surrey. The console table was found and restored.
It was hard — structural surprises, budget pressures, decisions I’d make differently. But when the BBC filmed the renovation for Homes Under the Hammer, the transformation spoke for itself.
